/met het bos als achtertuin groeide ik op in een klein boerendorpje in Limburg, NL. van jongs af aan ben ik al nieuwsgierig naar zo goed als alles wat op mijn pad komt. uren spendeerde ik al bloemetjes plukkend in de natuur, op avontuur in de weilanden van de boer en thuis bij zo goed als alle mensen in onze straat. ook stelde ik altijd bijdehand veel (lees: heel veel) vragen, want ik wilde overal het waarom van weten.
het liefst filosofeer ik nog steeds de hele dag over onderwerpen als de liefde, (evolutionaire) sociale psychologie en levenskunst. ik laat me graag inspireren door het dynamische alledaagse leven. maar ook door taal in de breedste zin van het woord. het zijn de kleine, vaak onopgemerkte zaken en momenten waar mijn aandacht naar uitgaat. met een kwetsbare, filosofische en romantische blik blijf ik schrijven. om niet te verdwalen in mijn eigen hoofd, of hart\

/with the forest behind, I grew up in a small farming village in Limburg, NL. ever since i was little, i have been curious about almost everything that crosses my way. i have spent hours picking flowers in nature, going on adventures in the farmer's fields, and visiting almost all neighbours of our street. i also always asked a lot (read: a whole lot) of questions, because I always wanted to know the why of everything.
i still philosophize daily about topics like love, (evolutionary) social psychology, and the art of living. i feel inspired by the dynamics of everyday life, but also by language in the broadest sense of the word. it's the small, often unnoticed things and moments that catch my attention. therefore -with a vulnerable, philosophical, and romantic perspective- i continue to write, so i will not get lost in my own head, or heart\
